Dr. Jonathan B. Lesser

Jonathan B. Lesser, M.D.
Director of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology
St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital Center
Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons

Dr. Lesser has extensive experience in neurosurgical anesthesiology for patients undergoing complex neurosurgical procedures.  Patients and their families often experience anxiety and trepidation when facing surgery.

Dr. Lesser believes that addressing these concerns is as much a part of good patient care as providing expert anesthesia.  Lesser is a strong believer in the team approach.

When the patient, the patient’s family, the physicians and the support staff work together as a team, the patient feels more confident, and at ease both before the surgery, and during recovery
